Thieme Stuttgart has announced that it is now the official publisher of seven quarterly subscription pediatric journals from the World Society of Child Science. The journals cover a range of areas that are essential reading for the pediatric professional.
World Society of Child Science journals now published by Thieme in 2015 are:
Journal of Pediatric Biochemistry, Journal of Pediatric Epilepsy, Journal of Pediatric Genetics,
Journal of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Journal of Pediatric Intensive Care, Journal of Pediatric Neurology and Journal of Pediatric Neuroradiology.
The main goals of the World Society of Child Science are to prevent the diseases of childhood, to educate pediatricians on the developments made in early diagnosis and treatments of pediatric diseases, and to hopefully decrease the overall death rate of children in Turkey and throughout the world. The society organises annual scientific congresses, seminars and trainings for pediatricians in Turkey and maintains cooperative relationships with the International Children's Health Center, the World Health Organization, and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
