Thieme Publishers Delhi (TPD) has announced that they are now the official publisher of Indian Journal of Neurotrauma. The first issue to be published by TPD will be out in June 2015.
Indian Journal of Neurotrauma (IJNT), first published in 2004, is the official publication of the Neurotrauma Society of India. IJNT is a peer-reviewed subscription journal with two issues per year (June, December). The aim of the journal is to provide a platform for accumulation and dissemination of ideas and information related to the field of neurotrauma. IJNT helps subscribers stay current on the knowledge, problems and controversies in the specialty. The journal's approach is holistic, covering all aspects of neurotrauma as they affect the general population and individual patients. IJNT is a standard reference source for peer reviewed data on neurotrauma in India.
The Neurotrauma Society of India began as the Neurotraumatology Committee under the aegis of the Neurological Society of India in 1992. The Neurotrauma Society was officially announced on 18th August 1999 at Rajkot by the late Dr. Arjun. D. Sehgal, the then President of the society. The first issue of Indian Journal of Neurotrauma was published in 2004.
