The Intellectual Property & Science business of Thomson Reuters has announced an initiative to advance efficiency and precision in scholarly publishing by integrating Ringgold's Identify - the industry's leading institutional identification database - into ScholarOne Manuscripts, the premier journal and peer review tool for scholarly publishers and societies.
This collaboration will accelerate the scholarly publishing process by easing the previously cumbersome task of accurately identifying the institutional affiliation of authors and reviewers.
The integration of Identify will enable ScholarOne Manuscripts users to quickly disambiguate complex institutional data and ensure accuracy by seamlessly connecting to more than 400,000 institutional records.
