E-publishing technology solutions provider Versita, Poland, has announced that three Scandinavian serials - Nordic Studies on Alcohol and Drugs, Nordic Journal of Migration Research and Sommerfeltia - are now included in the portfolio of more than 200 Open Access journals published by Versita Open.
The newly contracted Scandinavian journals, besides the basic pack of services, have also selected optional functionalities such as online submission system (Editorial Manager), copyediting, language and technical editing. With the professional support from Versita, journals that make their content available for readers at no cost can enjoy the same sophisticated online publishing technology and powerful marketing tools used by paid-access journals of large international publishers, and can compete with them in terms of impact.
Versita publishes over 200 own and third-party scholarly journals across many disciplines. It also runs Versita Open, an Open Access (OA) platform which does not impose any open access model on participating journals owned by universities, institutes and societies.
