Turner Publishing Company has acquired the publishing program of Basic Health Publications, Inc. effective December 31, 2015. Terms were not disclosed.
Turner acquired the publishing rights, inventory and related assets for approximately 280 Basic Health titles. The acquisition also includes about 20 titles not yet published. A complete list of acquired titles can be acquired by contacting Turner Publishing.
According to Todd Bottorff, president and publisher of Turner Publishing, this acquisition is a quality addition to Turner's leading health titles. The combination will continue to strengthen Turner's market position as a consumer publisher.
