His Excellency Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education for the United Arab Emirates, has announced a new world-class curriculum to enhance the UAE’s education system. The seven-year agreement has been signed with McGraw-Hill Education, a learning science company, for all K-12 math and science instructional materials in e-book and print formats.
The content for each curricular program was selected based on the most advanced and progressive material developed for U.S. standards and is aligned with the UAE National Standard Framework. All materials were created in Arabic and delivered in August for the 2016/2017 academic year.
McGraw-Hill Education provides outcome-focused learning solutions, delivering both curated content and digital learning tools and platforms to students in the classrooms of approximately 250,000 higher education instructors, 13,000 pre-kindergarten through 12th grade school districts and a wide variety of academic institutions, professionals and companies. It distributes its products in over 135 countries across Asia-Pacific, Europe, India, Latin America, the Middle East and North America and in nearly 60 languages.
