Unbound Medicine launches AI-powered Assist™ on Nursing Central to enhance education efficiency and personalization -

Unbound Medicine has announced the full rollout of Assist™, an AI-powered feature integrated into the Nursing Central platform. Developed through the company’s proprietary Unbound Intelligence™ (UBI) technology, Assist is designed to improve efficiency for nurse educators and enable more tailored, engaging learning experiences for students.

Built on a foundation of human oversight and artificial intelligence, Assist addresses long-standing challenges in the preparation of educational content such as case studies, assessments, and curriculum design. Following a comprehensive pilot program involving hundreds of nurse educators, participants reported an average time savings of more than five hours per week. This additional capacity allowed educators to prioritize planning, teaching, and student engagement, while also facilitating the delivery of content adapted to individual learner needs.

Assist is part of Unbound Medicine’s broader strategy to support academic and professional communities with intelligent tools that provide access to authoritative, evidence-based information. Early academic research into the platform’s effectiveness is underway, focusing on its role in preparing practice-ready nurses. Initial feedback indicates a high level of confidence in the accuracy and quality of the learning materials produced, alongside increased efficiency in instructional workflows.

Educators participating in the ongoing study have identified Assist as a key asset in meeting the evolving demands of nursing education. Its deployment is expected to significantly contribute to improved learning outcomes and more effective instructional delivery.

Unbound Medicine, a healthcare knowledge management provider with a 25-year history, continues to expand the application of Assist across additional healthcare disciplines and professional associations as part of its commitment to advancing educational innovation.
