University of Hong Kong joins Bentham Science Institutional Membership Program -

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has become an institutional member of the Bentham Science Institutional Membership Program. This affiliation enables HKU researchers to publish open access articles in Bentham Science journals under the CC-BY 4.0 license at discounted article processing charges (APCs).

Established in 1911, HKU is the oldest tertiary institution in Hong Kong, with a longstanding record in academic research and higher education. The partnership supports HKU’s commitment to expanding global access to its research outputs and facilitating open dissemination of scientific work.

Bentham Science is a publisher of peer-reviewed journals in science, technology, and medicine, with a catalog of over 160 journals in both digital and print formats. Its subject coverage includes pharmaceutical research, medical subspecialties, engineering, technology, and social sciences.

This membership is part of Bentham Science’s broader initiative to advance open access through institutional partnerships worldwide, aimed at enhancing the visibility and accessibility of scholarly research.
