Digital content services provider Ingram Digital, US, has announced an agreement with the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry to deliver the entire programme's curriculum in digital form, beginning in the Fall of 2008.
University of Puerto Rico dental students will receive all of the course materials they will use throughout the programme's four years in Ingram Digital's interactive Vitalbook format. As a result, students will be able to explore a full library of content for answers to scientific and clinical questions from the start of their academic journey.
Ingram Digital's e-book platform significantly enhances the learning experience by infusing textbooks and other course materials with advanced interactive functionality. It also allows efficient access and storage of a robust library of content directly on the student's PC or Mac. Currently, one out of three dental students in North America use Ingram Digital's VitalSource advanced e-book platform to access curriculum content.
