The University of Toronto Press (UTP) and the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) have entered into a strategic publishing partnership under which UTP will publish the Society’s Conference Proceedings beginning in 2026. The agreement brings together two organizations with a shared commitment to advancing knowledge and supporting innovation in civil engineering.
Through the collaboration, CSCE will work with UTP’s publishing program to deliver proceedings of high editorial quality and expand global reach. The partnership is expected to strengthen dissemination of research and professional dialogue across the civil engineering community.

CSCE highlights the significance of the partnership as preparations begin for the Society’s 2026 conferences in Vancouver and Quebec City. The Annual Conference in Quebec City, themed “Tradition to Innovation,” will address civil engineering’s ability to honor historical achievements while advancing new approaches to address current challenges.
