University of Toronto Press and De Gruyter announce partnership for worldwide sales of electronic publications -

University of Toronto Press and De Gruyter have formed a partnership for the worldwide sales of electronic publications. These include selected new releases and a comprehensive backlist of around 2,000 e-books.

The transatlantic sales cooperation expands the global reach of University of Toronto Press and strengthens the portfolio of De Gruyter with outstanding, research-intensive content and world-renowned authors. This arrangement makes University of Toronto Press the first Canadian university publisher to partner with the De Gruyter Online platform.

The University of Toronto Press, one of North America's premier scholarly presses, was founded in 1901 and is the leading university publisher in Canada. It publishes a highly regarded academic list covering all humanities and social sciences fields, by widely acclaimed authors such as Brent D. Shaw, John K. Noyes, and Siegfried Wenzel, and a range of series including the Collected Works of Erasmus, the Letters of Benjamin Disraeli, and Toronto Iberic.
