Versita to publish International Journal of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering -

Academic publisher Versita has announced a new partnership to publish International Journal of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. The journal, published quarterly in association with the Society of Naval Architects of Korea (SNAK), is the first journal from Asia to be included in Versita’s collection of peer-reviewed open access journals.

International Journal of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering provides a forum for engineers and scientists from a wide range of disciplines to present and discuss various phenomena in the utilisation and preservation of ocean environment. Without being limited by the traditional categorisation, it is encouraged to present advanced technology development and scientific research, as long as they are aimed for more and better human engagement with ocean environment.

The journal covers the latest research not only in marine hydrodynamics, but a wider spectrum of related disciplines, including: structural mechanics; marine propulsion system; design methodology & practice; marine equipment technology; materials science; under-water acoustics; satellite observations and information technology related to ship and marine systems; ocean energy systems; maritime safety engineering; polar & arctic engineering; coastal & port engineering; aqua-cultural engineering; sub-sea engineering; and specialized water-craft engineering - bringing new perspectives to established principles that are of relevance to both academia and industry.

Versita will distribute the journal open access, online via the journal platform PubFactory, enabling distribution to libraries and IP authorisation.
