John Wiley and Sons Inc. and the Alzheimer’s Association have announced that the Alzheimer’s Association has selected Wiley as its publishing partner for its three publications - Alzheimer’s & Dementia®:The Journal of the Alzheimer’s Association (A&D), Alzheimer’s & Dementia®:Diagnosis, Assessment & Disease Monitoring (DADM), and Alzheimer’s & Dementia®:Translational Research & Clinical Interventions (TRCI). The journals will transition to the Wiley Online Library platform following the publication of the November/December 2019 issue.
Alzheimer's & Dementia: Journal of the Alzheimer's Association aims to bridge knowledge gaps separating traditional fields of dementia research by covering the entire spectrum from basic science to clinical trials and social and behavioural investigations. The journal provides a forum for rapid communication of new findings and ideas; disseminating knowledge necessary for optimal translation of research findings into practical application and interventions; increasing knowledge in diverse disciplines to promote early detection, diagnosis and/or interventions; identifying promising new directions of research; and providing the scientific impetus for new initiatives.
Alzheimer’s & Dementia: Diagnosis, Assessment & Disease Monitoring concentrates on the discovery, development, and validation of assays, instruments, and technologies with the potential to facilitate accurate detection of dementia in its various forms and stages.
Alzheimer’s & Dementia: Translational Research & Clinical Interventions seeks to advance and expedite clinical translational research in Alzheimer's disease and age-related cognitive impairment into improved care and treatment, and promote open-access communication across preclinical, clinical, and effectiveness research areas.
