The International Association for Plant Taxonomy (IAPT) has selected publisher John Wiley and Sons Inc. as its publishing partner for the journal TAXON, beginning in 2019.
TAXON is the leading international journal in the field of systematics, taxonomy, and evolutionary biology of plants, fungi and algae. In addition to publishing top quality research papers, TAXON is unique in also publishing articles that pertain to the nomenclature, or naming, of plants, fungi, and algae. The governance of botanical nomenclature is managed by the scientific community, and TAXON plays a central role in recording this essential activity.
