Wiley and the National Society of Genetic Counselors announce publishing partnership -

Publisher John Wiley and Sons Inc. and the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) have announced a publishing partnership for the Journal of Genetic Counseling. The journal will transition to the Wiley Online Library platform following the publication of the November/December 2018 issue.

Journal of Genetic Counseling is the preeminent journal for the genetic counselling profession and has undergone tremendous growth since its inception in 1992. It is a bimonthly online journal with a worldwide readership. The primary goal of this scholarly journal is to promote the advancement of an evidence base relevant to the field of genetic counselling. As an official NSGC publication, the journal also provides a forum for dialogue on critical or controversial issues in the genetic counselling field.

NSGC, the leading voice for genetic counselling, was incorporated in 1979. Chicago-based NSGC serves to advance the roles of genetic counsellors in healthcare by fostering education, research, and public policy to ensure the availability of quality genetic services. NSGC's vision is to integrate genetics and genomics to improve health for all by expanding and promoting the practice of genetic counselling. Wiley is proud to partner with the NSCG to advance the impact of genetic counselling research globally.
