Wiley announces publishing partnership with the International Institute for Learning -

Publisher John Wiley & Sons, Inc., US, has announced a partnership with International Institute for Learning Inc., (IIL). Under the deal, the global publisher will publish books for the Project Management market that also supplement IIL course offerings.

The new series of books will produce best practice insights for project managers and those responsible for sponsoring and supporting projects, including executives, in the global marketplace in which both Wiley and IIL play critical roles. The first books in the series are expected to publish in the fall of 2009.

The series will generate four to six books a year on topics such as, Project, Program, and Portfolio Management, Lean Six Sigma, Business Analysis, and Business Strategy. The first series of breakthrough books will be written by best-selling project management expert authors, Harold Kerzner and Frank P. Saladis, PMP. Titles include: Value-Driven Project Management, What Executives Need to Know about Project Management, and What Functional Managers Need to Know about Project Management. The books are seen to be a strong strategic fit with Wiley's successful list of titles on project management in global corporations.
