Wiley-Blackwell, the STM and scholarly publishing business of John Wiley & Sons, Inc., US, and publisher AlphaMed Press, US, has announced that Wiley-Blackwell has been selected to serve as co-publisher of Stem Cells, effective January 1, 2009. An international journal of cell differentiation and proliferation, Stem Cells is co-edited by Dr. Donald G. Phinney and Dr. Miodrag Stojkovic. They are supported by a global editorial board.
Stem Cells publishes peer-accepted original articles and concise reviews describing basic laboratory investigations of stem cells and the translation to patient care. The journal also provides a forum for young investigators to present provocative proposals for new research directions. The journal covers all aspects of stem cells and regenerative medicine including embryonic stem cells; induced pluripotent stem cells; tissue-specific stem cells; cancer stem cells; the stem cell niche; stem cell epigenetics, genomics and proteomics; translational and clinical research; and technology development.
