STM and scholarly publisher Wiley-Blackwell, US, has announced that it has been selected by the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) to publish their journal the Journal of Midwifery & Women’s Health.
Established in 1955 as the Bulletin of the American College of Nurse-Midwifery, the publication became the Journal of Nurse-Midwifery in 1973. To reflect the expanding scope of practice into primary healthcare for women the journal was further renamed as the Journal of Midwifery & Women’s Health in 2000. Edited by Frances E. Likis, the journal focuses on contemporary care, current research, and new knowledge in maternal-child health, family-centered maternity care, gynecology and primary healthcare.
This partnership reinforces Wiley-Blackwell’s already prominent position as publisher for more than 750 society partners which includes many nursing and health associations.
