Wiley to publish Canadian Cardiovascular Society journal portfolio beginning 2027 -

Wiley announced a new publishing partnership with the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS), the national association representing cardiovascular clinicians and scientists in Canada. Effective January 2027, Wiley will publish the Society’s full journal portfolio, including the Canadian Journal of Cardiology, CCS’s flagship hybrid title, and two gold open access journals, CJC Open and CJC Pediatric & Congenital Heart Disease.

Founded in 1947, the CCS develops clinical practice guidelines, advances cardiovascular research, and contributes to healthcare policy in Canada and internationally. The partnership is expected to provide continued access to peer‑reviewed research through Wiley’s publishing technology, editorial infrastructure, and distribution network.

The agreement adds a respected clinical program to Wiley’s health sciences portfolio and aligns with its ongoing support for societies through open access publishing, global distribution, and emerging technologies. The CCS journals are scheduled to be available on Wiley Online Library beginning January 2027.
