Healthcare information provider Wolters Kluwer has announced a new partnership with Anahp, the national association of private hospitals in Brazil, an organisation representing the country's major private hospitals.
The agreement is part of the company's strategic efforts to continue overall growth in the Brazilian market and expand the adoption of UpToDate®, the clinical decision support resource used by more than one million doctors around the world. Beyond that, the partnership supports a common mission of Anahp and Wolters Kluwer to improve care in hospitals across the country.
Anahp was founded in 2001 as an organisation of leading private hospitals in Brazil, drawing the values of its constitution from the Carta de Brasília charter statement. Anahp works to expand the gains pioneered by private healthcare institutions to benefit the greatest number of Brazilians. Leaders of Anahp hospitals are committed to the continuous and systematic improvement of Brazilian healthcare by optimising the resources available to provide optimal medical care. Additionally, Anahp works to promote health awareness as a cultural value in Brazil.
