Wolters Kluwer Health has announced the availability of its UpToDate® Enterprise Edition for healthcare systems and hospitals in the Asia-Pacific region. The clinical decision support solution, which includes AI-enabled features, was developed for large healthcare systems and hospitals to assist healthcare administrators and clinicians in supporting care delivery. The solution was scheduled to be demonstrated at Hospital Management Asia on September 10–11, 2025.
UpToDate has long been used by healthcare professionals worldwide to support clinical decision-making and reduce variability in care. The Enterprise Edition extends this role by introducing advanced features, insights, and technology innovations to address current challenges. The solution is already deployed in more than 200 hospitals across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
Key enhancements include AI-Enhanced Search, which enables clinicians to use natural language queries to obtain precise answers more quickly, and an AI-powered Analytics Dashboard, which allows organizations to make use of system-wide data to improve efficiency and provide educational opportunities. UpToDate Enterprise Edition also harmonizes content for care teams, aiming to improve decision-making, workflow efficiency, collaboration, and resource utilization.
Organizations adopting the solution can use it to manage complexity in clinical decision-making, align entire care teams with the same trusted content, reduce clinician burnout through workflow improvements, and enhance organizational outcomes through system-wide insights. The analytics features include data on topic usage, benchmarking, and CME accreditation activity.
According to the In the Frost Radar™: Clinical Decision Support System, 2025 report, Wolters Kluwer was named both a “Company to Action” and the market leader for innovation, based on an assessment of more than 60 vendors in the clinical decision support sector.
