Wolters Kluwer Health has announced a 10‑year publishing agreement with the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) to expand global access to five specialty journals. The portfolio includes Radiology, Radiology: Artificial Intelligence, Radiology: Cardiothoracic Imaging, Radiology: Imaging Cancer, and RadioGraphics.
The agreement builds on RSNA’s publishing history, which dates back to 1923, and reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the dissemination of high‑quality, evidence‑based radiology research. Wolters Kluwer will provide expanded access and discoverability through its publishing and digital platforms, including Ovid®, while integrating content into clinical and research workflows.
RSNA, a nonprofit representing radiology professionals in more than 160 countries, serves over 53,000 members. The Society advances patient care and healthcare delivery through education, research, and innovation, and hosts the world’s largest radiology conference.
Mark G. Watson, RSNA’s Executive Director, noted that the journal portfolio delivers peer‑reviewed content across radiologic subspecialties and that collaborating with Wolters Kluwer offers new opportunities for growth in an evolving publishing landscape.
Rafael Sidi, Senior Vice President & General Manager of Health Research at Wolters Kluwer Health, emphasized that RSNA’s publications are recognized for their quality and impact. He explained that Wolters Kluwer’s role is to support the integrity, visibility, and accessibility of this research, ensuring it informs clinical care, guides innovation, and strengthens evidence‑based practice globally.
The RSNA titles will be included in the Lippincott portfolio of medical, nursing, and allied health journals, which features nearly 400 indexed publications. RSNA articles are also regularly cited in radiology topics within UpToDate, Wolters Kluwer Health’s AI‑powered clinical decision support tool used by more than 3 million clinicians worldwide.
