Wolters Kluwer Health, a global provider of information for healthcare professionals and students, have announced a partnership with Universidade Anhembi Morumbi to offer drug information resources and help educate healthcare students and professionals in Brazil.
Under the deal, Wolters Kluwer Health will provide complimentary access to its online global drug information reference solution, Lexicomp Online, to Anhembi for use in its pharmacy, medical and nursing courses. In exchange, Anhembi will provide training to Brazilian healthcare professionals who subscribe to Lexicomp Online so they can help enhance patient care by taking advantage of the complete depth of Lexicomp drug content and interactive tools.
Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, a member of Laureate International Universities, is ranked one of the top three private universities in Sao Paulo state, Brazil. Students in the health sciences program across the university's six campuses will be given access to Lexicomp Online, which will be specifically incorporated into curricula to assist with pharmacology research and to help answer practical clinical questions about medication dosing, conversions, and administration.
Fifty instructors within Anhembi healthcare programs will also be given complimentary subscriptions to Lexicomp Mobile Apps for on-the-go access to clinical content and tools to support both academic course planning and patient care in their practice. Healthcare professionals throughout Brazil who subscribe to Lexicomp solutions will be able to attend special dedicated training courses featuring clinical simulations conducted by Anhembi.
