AJMQ is recognized as the leading forum for research and perspectives on strategies to improve the delivery and management of health care across patient populations, professional disciplines, and healthcare settings. First published in 1986, AJMQ has chronicled the evolution of the medical quality movement and methods of quality assessment and improvement.
Each issue of AJMQ presents important new research of interest to all healthcare professionals responsible for providing leadership in quality and safety outcomes. Topics include evaluation of quality improvement initiatives and quality metrics, value-based care, education and training, documentation (including the role of electronic health records), and the role of telehealth and other digital technologies.
