Work and Health (WAH), a peer-reviewed open-access journal, has been named the official affiliated publication of the European Association of Schools of Occupational Medicine (EASOM). The collaboration seeks to strengthen education, research, and practice in occupational and environmental health across Europe.
The journal publishes research spanning occupational epidemiology, toxicology, biomarkers, and industrial hygiene, with particular focus on omics sciences, nanotoxicology, robotics, and digital monitoring tools linking exposure to disease. To encourage broader dissemination, article processing charges will be waived for all accepted manuscripts until September 2026, supporting early-career researchers and EASOM members.
EASOM, an organization dedicated to advancing occupational medicine training in Europe, views the partnership as a step toward fostering innovation and strengthening standards in the field.
